江水謠 River Ballad (Music Video） River Ballad was originally created in 2023 as the opening piece for the CCTV Mid-Autumn Gala. First performed as a pop song, it marked the beginning of a musical journey shaped by time and return. Three years later, the work re-emerges through classical and folk vocal interpretations by Zhang Yan and Zhao Qianyu. Over six months of solitary refinement, the music video was slowly reconstructed, driven by devotion and an unresolved insistence on what the work could become. The score is now complete. River Ballad stands ready, awaiting its next encounter.
